Click the Add to Discord button at the top of the page, select your server from the dropdown, and confirm the permissions. The bot will post a setup guide in your #general channel automatically. Full configuration takes less than 5 minutes.
Strom runs every incoming message through a lightweight model that scores it for spam patterns, banned keyword proximity, mass-mention abuse, and account-age heuristics. Actions (delete, mute, ban) are triggered when a configurable threshold is crossed — all in under 50ms.
Absolutely. You can set per-channel XP multipliers, cooldowns between XP grants, bonus XP for voice activity, and fully custom embed messages for level-ups. Role rewards at specific levels are also configurable via the dashboard.
Currently: YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, RSS feeds, and Bluesky. Each subscription can post to a different channel with a custom ping role and embed color.
For full functionality Strom needs: Manage Roles, Manage Messages, Ban Members, Kick Members, and Send Messages. You can grant a subset of permissions to limit its scope — the dashboard shows which features are disabled as a result.
